Kader Football Club announce new men's first team manager

Kader Football Club is delighted to announce that Steve Simpkin will be the club’s new men’s first team manager.

Steve comes after a five-year stint at Northern League club Redcar Athletic, where he was manager of their reserves team who play in the North Riding League Premier Division.

Kader FC chairman, Alan Formby-Jackson, said: “As a club we want to take the next step up in men’s football and do what we can to get promotion to the Northern League. Steve was the standout candidate and I’m really pleased he is on board. His experience not just in senior football but also in junior football is a huge asset to the club and he is the perfect fit for what we are trying to do."

Steve added: "I am absolutely delighted to be taking up the role of first team manager here at Kader. Having met with Alan and the trustees and learned of the ambition within the club to progress their senior section, I'm excited to become a part of things and work with everyone at the club to build a team and facility that can progress up the non-league pyramid into the Northern League. Not only this, but as someone who has been heavily involved in junior football in my previous role, I'm looking forward to strengthening the bond between junior and senior teams and providing them with a senior team they can be proud of and that they'll want to get behind and support. The potential here is incredible and I am delighted to be appointed at the beginning of a really exciting period for the club.”

Steve will be joined at Kader by his long-term assistant, Dave Peacock Jnr.
