Defeat in the final of the World Cup of Club Badges

In a close final, with a total of 4,800 votes cast, Kader FC were narrowly beaten by Wigginton Grasshoppers in the final of the World Cup of Club Badges.

After our close quarter-final and semi-final victories, Kader went into the Final aware that a massive effort was required from members, followers and fans.

It was a battle between Teesside and York with both teams calling on support from other local teams, media and local celebrities.

Kader FC was able to count on the support of Steph McGovern and had multiple retweets from past players.

Kader FC went into an early lead but there was never much in it with the lead swapping throughout the Poll. In the end, Wiggy had managed to get 52.2% of the vote with Kader FC getting 47.8%.

It was an opportunity to showcase out Club badge and look again at how the final design came about. Designed by Better Brand Agency, the badge represents the history and importance of Kader FC as a team for the community.

We wish to thank all those who took the time to support the team by voting, sharing and setting up accounts.

Congratulations to Wiggy and we will leave the final message to the NRCFA.
